AUREUS
The Aureus is designed for ICP/MS and is 100% High Purity PFA including the sample lines, 1/4-28 sample line fittings, the body and the inner capillaries. As with the Teflon Mira Mist, it can be used for any liquid. It has 250 micron ID capillaries, the same as in the PFA 260. It runs sample flow rates from 50 µl/min up to 2 ml/min. TEFLON MIRA MIST
The Teflon Mira Mist is designed for all ICP systems – both OES and MS. They handle sample flow rates from 200 µl/min up to 2.5 ml/min. Their mist has droplet sizes in the 1-10 micron range, and the large inner capillaries can handle high levels of particulates in the samples. They fit regular chambers as a direct replacement for glass concentric nebulizers. The Mira Mist operates on standard pressures of 35 - 55 psi. The Teflon Mira Mist can be used for any liquid. Salting is very rare, but can occur over long periods of time, especially with high Sodium levels in the solution. Such salting can be cleared easily with a dip in 5 - 10% HF, (Caution: Be careful when handling HF. Huge Sample Capillary: 750 microns / 1/32 inch. Designed as replacement for T2002 and BTN. Essentially unpluggable with un-dissolved particles. Can operate on sample flow rates from 500 µl/min up to 3.0 ml/min. Excellent mist, but not quite as good as Mira Mist, but better than most concentrics. Low Flow design for ICP/MS. PFA nose and inner capillaries and all wetted parts. Peek body for strength and longevity. Sample Capillary: 250 microns. Designed for ICP/MS where low flow is desired and PFA only touching the liquids is desired. Can operate on sample flow rates from 50 µl/min up to 2 ml/min. Excellent mist, seems to be more stable, and have lower %RSD than a Mira Mist.
The PFA 250 is set to run higher gas flows for the PE NexION which typically runs at 1.2 L/min. It uses 45 psi for 1 L/min.
The PFA 260 is set to run at higher pressure than a Mira Mist, but well within most instruments standard ranges. It uses about 40 psi for .65 L/min or 60 psi for 1 L/min.

ARI MIST

T2002
Our old original standard nebulizer. Works well on most instruments. Fits most chambers. Best results are with Cyclonic Chambers. The T2002 was scheduled to be discontinued in Jan, 2010. However, we have decided to continue to have it available as long as there is a demand for them, and the one person who can make them continues to do so. For most applications, the T2100 is a better nebulizer since it handles larger particles, lasts longer, and provides virtually the same intensities and stability.
