Hydraulic laboratory presses
Perfect sample preparation
For ground soil samples, metal powder, KBr or other materials: a high-quality laboratory press is also required for perfect sample preparation for X-ray fluorescence analysis, infrared spectroscopy, calorimeters or other areas of research. It has to form the powder into a stable tablet, be able to press up to 25 t, be durable but not too big or heavy.
This is where our laboratory presses come into play: table-top devices made of high-strength aluminum and stainless steel. Intended for a wide range of pressing tools from 3 to 50 mm in diameter.
Easy usage
All common pressing tools can be used with. For XRF this is usually a 32 or 40 mm tool, for IR spectroscopy it is a 13 mm tool. We offer pressing tools for 3 to 50 mm sample diameters, as well as special tools from the XRF series for pressing into rings or aluminum shells. We have a separate brochure for this.
The pressing tool just needs to be filled in, placed in the pressing space and fixed with the spindle. Then close the manual valve on the side and start the pumping process. If you want to connect a vacuum pump, the hose can be led outwards via an elongated hole at the back.
